Centennial Chargers (Champaign, IL) followers were happy Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team achieve victory over the host Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers (Paxton, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Chargers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Railsplitters enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln defeated Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.
