North Carolina High School Volleyball - Cape Fear can't get by Heritage
August 21, 2024: Fayetteville, NC 28312 Heritage Huskies (Wake Forest, NC) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Heritage advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Huskies host Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC) to face the Golden Hawks in a non-league test on Thursday, August 22. The Golden Hawks go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Colts now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lumberton for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 27. Cape Fear will face a Pirates squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 3-1.
