August 21, 2024: San Gabriel, CA 91776 Pilibos Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host San Gabriel Mission Pioneers (San Gabriel, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Pilibos improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Eagles host Mesrobian (Pico Rivera, CA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, August 23. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Pioneers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Bernard for a test on Tuesday, September 3.
