Next, the Pirates meet the Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, August 22. Miller County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Deerfield-Windsor (Albany, GA). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Deerfield-Windsor was routed by Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA), 21-0, in a non-league challenge.
