Georgia High School Softball - Windsor Academy sneaks past Southwest
August 21, 2024: Macon, GA 31216 The Windsor Academy Knights (Macon, GA) softball nipped the visiting Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA), 1-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Knights now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crisp Academy for a non-league outing on Monday, August 26. Windsor Academy will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 20-3 non-league win over Twiggs Academy (Jeffersonville, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Southwest moves to 0-4 on the season. The Patriots host Central (Macon, GA) to encounter the Chargers in a 1A D-I Region 2 outing on Thursday, August 22. The Chargers come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Central lost 12-1 in their recent league outing against East Laurens (East Dublin, GA)
