August 21, 2024: Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274 Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Banning Pilots (Wilmington, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Peninsula improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA) to face the Stars in a non-league test on Thursday, August 22. The Stars go into the test with a record of 0-4. Mary Star of the Sea lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Quartz Hill (Quartz Hill, CA)
The Pilots now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Legacy for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28. Banning will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
