August 21, 2025: Cincinnati, OH 45230 Turpin Spartans (Cincinnati, OH) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team nip the host Archbishop McNicholas Rockets (Cincinnati, OH), 14-8 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Turpin advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Spartans host Little Miami (Morrow, OH) to play the Panthers in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Little Miami won 34-0 in their recent non-league battle against Bishop Fenwick (Franklin, OH)
The Rockets now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Roger Bacon for a non-league match on Thursday, September 11.
