With the win, La Costa Canyon advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Mavericks host Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA) to confront the Dons in a non-league match on Thursday, August 28. The Dons enter the match with a record of 2-0. Cathedral Catholic won 38-6 in their recent non-league match against Santana (Santee, CA)
