Kentucky High School Volleyball - Franklin County can't hold off Scott County
August 21, 2025: Georgetown, KY 40324 The Scott County Cardinals tipped the visiting Franklin County Flyers volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lexington Christian for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 26. Scott County will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Bryan Station (Lexington, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Franklin County drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 26. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Lexington Catholic won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Bourbon County (Paris, KY)
