In Thursday's non-league game, the Carson Colts (Carson, CA) flag football squad tipped the visiting St. Mary's Academy Belles (Inglewood, CA), by a margin of 20-18.

The Colts now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Garden Grove for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. Carson will clash with a Argonauts squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Bolsa Grande (Garden Grove, CA). The Argonauts record now stands at 2-2.
