Kentucky High School Soccer - Boyle County knocks off Southwestern
August 21, 2025: Somerset, KY 42503 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY) and the host Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY), witnessed Boyle County's soccer team triumph over Southwestern by a final score of 8-1.
With the triumph, Boyle County moves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY) to meet the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Monday, August 25. The Cardinals enter the battle with a record of 4-1. Taylor County won 8-0 in their recent non-league battle against Breckinridge County (Harned, KY)
Next up, the Warriors battle the Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 23. Southwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Golden Lions enter the battle with a 5-1 record after their 9-1 non-league win over South Laurel (London, KY).
