August 21, 2025: Lexington, NC 27292 The Central Davidson Spartans football squad scored 24 points and limited the visiting Carson Cougars to 12 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Spartans now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastern Alamance for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4.
With the defeat, Carson falls to 0-1 on the year. The Cougars host Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Mount Pleasant won 34-13 in their recent non-league challenge against Concord (Concord, NC)
