August 21, 2025: Heber City, UT 84032 The Wasatch Wasps were winner over the visiting Cyprus Pirates football squad by a margin of 36-20 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Wasps now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bonneville for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Wasatch will clash with a Lakers squad coming off a 42-12 non-league loss to Stansbury (Stansbury Park, UT). The Lakers record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Cyprus falls to 0-1 on the year. The Pirates travel to Tooele (Tooele, UT) to face the Buffaloes in a non-league game on Thursday, August 28. The Buffaloes enter the game with a record of 0-1. Tooele lost 56-13 in their recent non-league game against Timpanogos (Orem, UT)
