The Wildcats now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Denver Christian for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18.
With the loss, Roosevelt moves to 0-1 on the year. The Roughriders travel to Classical Academy (Escondido, CA) to face the Caimans in a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 26. The Caimans enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
