With the win, Cartersville improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA) to encounter the Titans in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 21. The Titans go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Blue Devils now own a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pope for a non-league contest on Monday, August 25. Marietta will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Harrison (Kennesaw, GA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 1-0.
