In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Hesperia Scorpions volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Jurupa Hills Spartans.

The Scorpions (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Burroughs (Ridgecrest, CA). The Burros go into the test with a 3-2 record.
