August 21, 2025: Raleigh, NC 27606 The Southwest Wake Wolves edged the visiting Gate City Guardians soccer team by a tally of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Wolves face the Forsyth Home Educators Hawks (Winston-Salem, NC) in a NC Home Education Athletic Commission - West game, on Friday, August 29. Southwest Wake will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Hawks enter the game with a 3-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Winston Salem Christian (Winston-Salem, NC).
With the loss, Gate City moves to 1-3 on the year. The Guardians host Asheboro Hybrid Academy (Asheboro, NC) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 1-2.
