August 21, 2025: Batavia, OH 45103 Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, OH) and the visiting Wilmington Hurricane (Wilmington, OH), saw Batavia's volleyball squad notch a victory over Wilmington by a score of 3-0.
With the win, Batavia improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH) to encounter the Highlanders in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. The Highlanders go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Oak Hills won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Mercy McAuley (Cincinnati, OH)
The Hurricane now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blanchester for a non-league contest on Monday, August 25. Wilmington will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to East Clinton (Sabina, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
