August 21, 2025: Denton, TX 76201 Denton Broncos (Denton, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Braswell Bengals (Little Elm, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Denton improves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Broncos travel to Chisum (Paris, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 23. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 8-2. Chisum lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Sanger (Sanger, TX)
Next, the Bengals meet the Holliday Eagles (Holliday, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 21. Braswell will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Springtown (Springtown, TX).
