August 21, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, TX 75456 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Chapel Hill Red Devils (Mount Pleasant, TX) and the host Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX), observed Chapel Hill's volleyball team top Mt. Pleasant by a count of 2-0.
The Red Devils (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hooks (Hooks, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Hooks achieved victory over Jefferson (Jefferson, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Tigers now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whitehouse for a 5A Region II District 10 battle on Tuesday, August 26. Mt. Pleasant will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-4.
