August 21, 2025: Las Vegas, NV 89110 The Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Cheyenne Desert Shields to 0 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Knights now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Amplus Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 26. Mater Academy East Las Vegas will play a Archers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Bonanza (Las Vegas, NV). The Archers record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Cheyenne drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Desert shields travel to Shadow Ridge (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 26. The Mustangs come into the outing with a record of 8-2. Shadow Ridge lost 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Liberty (Henderson, NV)
