Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Independence Falcons (Bakersfield, CA) and the host Foothill Trojans (Bakersfield, CA), saw Independence's volleyball squad notch a victory over Foothill by a score of 3-0.

The Falcons (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Kennedy (Delano, CA). The Thunderbirds enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Kennedy was defeated by Independence (Bakersfield, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
