August 21, 2025: Cleveland, GA 30528 White County Warriors (Cleveland, GA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, White County advances its record to 5-8 on the season. The Warriors host Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA) to face the Tigers in a 3A Area 6 test on Tuesday, August 26. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 7-7. Dawson County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Wesleyan (Norcross, GA)
The Bobcats now sport a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Ridgeland for a 3A Area 7 outing on Tuesday, August 26. Gilmer will play a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to LaFayette (LaFayette, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-7.
