California High School Volleyball - Yorba Linda over Huntington Beach
August 21, 2025: Yorba Linda, CA 92886 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Yorba Linda Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Huntington Beach Oilers.
The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Esperanza (Anaheim, CA). The Aztecs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Esperanza beat El Toro (Lake Forest, CA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
The Oilers now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakewood for a non-league test on Friday, August 22. Huntington Beach will face a Lancers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 0-7.
