August 21, 2025: Victoria, TX 77904 The McMullen County Cowboys volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Victoria East Titans to 1 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cowboys now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to John F. Kennedy for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. McMullen County will clash with a Rockets team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Irvin (El Paso, TX). The Rockets record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Victoria East drops to 6-9 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Goliad (Goliad, TX) to confront the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, August 22. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 8-3. Goliad won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX)
