Mississippi High School Volleyball - Oxford overwhelmed by Murrah
August 21, 2025: Oxford, MS 38655 The Murrah Mustangs topped the host Oxford Chargers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.
The Mustangs now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Clinton for a Class 7A Region 2 outing on Tuesday, August 26. Murrah will play a Arrows team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Germantown (Madison, MS). The Arrows record now stands at 1-9.
With the loss, Oxford drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to West Point (Cullman, AL) to play the Warriors in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 3-0. West Point won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Cold Springs (Bremen, AL)
