Newton Rams (Covington, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Redan Raiders (Stone Mountain, GA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Newton improves its record to 2-7 on the season. The Rams host Jasper County (Monticello, GA) to encounter the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Jasper County lost 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Putnam County (Eatonton, GA)
