August 21, 2025: Panorama City, CA 91402 The Taft Toreadors volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host St. Genevieve Valiants to 0 in the Toreadors non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Toreadors now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Castaic for a non-league game on Wednesday, August 27. Taft will confront a Coyotes squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Simi Valley (Simi Valley, CA). The Coyotes record now stands at 1-0.
The Valiants (0-3) will now prepare for their game against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy gained a win over Triumph Charter (Sylmar, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
