The The Linsly School Cadets edged the host Tyler Knights volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Cadets now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Shadyside for a non-league outing on Monday, August 25. The Linsly School will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to River (Hannibal, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Tyler drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV) to confront the Bees in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 26.
