The Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy Phoenix to 1 in the Bengals non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bengals now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to John Yowell Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28.
