August 22, 2022: Marion, NC 28752 McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) fans left the game satisfied Monday as they observed their football team run past the visiting Cloudland Highlanders (Roan Mountain, TN), 32-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, McDowell improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Titans host East Rutherford (Forest City, NC) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 1. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 0-2. East Rutherford lost 17-12 in their recent non-league test against Tuscola (Waynesville, NC)
With the loss, Cloudland moves to 0-1 on the season. The Highlanders travel to North Greene (Greeneville, TN) to confront the Huskies in a non-league test on Monday, August 29. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 0-1. North Greene lost 46-6 in their recent non-league test against Happy Valley (Elizabethton, TN)
