August 22, 2022: Boone, NC 28607 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) and the visiting Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC), saw Watauga's soccer squad knock off Franklin by a margin of 4-1.
The Pioneers now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to West Forsyth for a non-league test on Thursday, September 1.
With the loss, Franklin drops to 0-1 on the season. The Panthers host Polk County (Columbus, NC) to meet the Wolverines in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 31. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 0-1.
