August 22, 2023: Burbank, CA 91506 Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Monrovia Wildcats (Monrovia, CA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Bears clash with the Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 24. Burroughs will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Toreadors come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over St. Genevieve (Panorama City, CA).
With the loss, Monrovia drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA) to clash with the Kares in a non-league match on Tuesday, August 29. The Kares come into the match with a record of 3-1. Rio Hondo Prep won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Hoover (Glendale, CA)
