Georgia High School Softball - Deerfield-Windsor bounces Southland Academy
August 22, 2023: Albany, GA 31707 The Deerfield-Windsor Knights routed the visiting Southland Academy Raiders softball squad by a final score of 6-0 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Knights (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Southwest Georgia Academy was routed by Tiftarea Academy (Chula, GA), 7-4, in a non-league battle.
The Raiders now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Brookwood for a GIAA 3AAA battle on Thursday, August 24. Southland Academy will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 15-11 non-league loss to Baconton Charter (Baconton, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-2.
