August 22, 2023: Sumrall, MS 39482 The Sumrall Bobcats volleyball team (Sumrall, MS), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Petal Panthers (Petal, MS)
The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against South Jones (Ellisville, MS). The Braves enter the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, South Jones was nudged by Stringer (Stringer, MS), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bobcats meet the Northeast Jones Tigers (Laurel, MS) in a Class 4 Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, August 24. Sumrall will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Raleigh (Raleigh, MS).
