The Tigers now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Fairmont for a Class A Section 2 bout on Saturday, August 24. Albert Lea will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Stewartville (Stewartville, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Loyola moves to 0-1 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Worthington (Worthington, MN) to play the Trojans in a Class A Section 2 bout on Saturday, August 24.
