North Carolina High School Football - Hoggard can't hold off Cleveland
August 22, 2024: Wilmington, NC 28403 Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the host Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC), 28-27 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Cleveland advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rams travel to Heritage (Wake Forest, NC) to play the Huskies in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 29. The Huskies go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Heritage lost 27-6 in their recent non-league battle against East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC)
The Vikings now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Wallace-Rose Hill for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5.
