New Mexico High School Football - Dexter sneaks past Texico
August 22, 2024: Dexter, NM 88230 The Dexter Demons football squad scored 22 points and limited the visiting Texico Wolverines to 20 in the Demons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Demons now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lovington for a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. Dexter will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 42-6 non-league loss to Roswell (Roswell, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Texico drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM) to meet the Lions in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 12. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 1-0.
