North Carolina High School Football - Hillside sneaks past Panther Creek
August 22, 2024: Cary, NC 27519 The Hillside Hornets football squad scored 24 points and limited the host Panther Creek Catamounts to 19 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Hornets now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southern Durham for a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. Hillside will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 28-0 non-league win over Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Panther Creek drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Catamounts travel to Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC) to meet the Pride in a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. The Pride come into the test with a record of 1-0. Leesville Road won 55-0 in their recent non-league test against Wakefield (Raleigh, NC)
