Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC), 32-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Union Pines advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Western Harnett (Lillington, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 0-1.

The Hawks now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host South Johnston for a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 28. Triton will play a Trojans team coming off a 16-12 non-league win over Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.
