August 22, 2024: Greensboro, NC 27410 The Mount Tabor Spartans soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Western Guilford Hornets to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Spartans now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Southwest Guilford for a non-league bout on Monday, August 26. Mount Tabor will play a Cowboys squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Western Guilford moves to 0-3 on the year. The Hornets travel to Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 27. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Parkland won 4-1 in their recent non-league bout against Ledford (Thomasville, NC)
