Georgia High School Softball - East Forsyth bounces Walnut Grove
August 22, 2024: Gainesville, GA 30506 The East Forsyth Broncos softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Walnut Grove Warriors to 2 in the Broncos league win on Thursday.
The Broncos now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Oconee for a 4A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, August 27. East Forsyth will encounter a Titans team coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Bethlehem Christian Academy (Bethlehem, GA). The Titans record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Walnut Grove moves to 1-8 on the season. The Warriors travel to East Laurens (East Dublin, GA) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 24. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 4-0. East Laurens won 10-2 in their recent league battle against Dodge County (Eastman, GA)
