In Thursday's league match, the visiting St. Francis Knights softball team scored a tight 6-3 victory over the King's Ridge Christian Tigers.

The Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Strong Rock Christian (Locust Grove, GA). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Strong Rock Christian was routed by Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA), 8-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Galloway Scots (Atlanta, GA) in a match, on Tuesday, August 27. King's Ridge Christian will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record.
