August 22, 2024: Colquitt, GA 39837 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Miller County Pirates (Colquitt, GA) and the visiting Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA), observed Miller County's softball team get by Mitchell County by a tally of 1-0.
The Pirates (7-2) will now prepare for their bout against Mitchell County (Camilla, GA). The Eagles go into the 1A D-II Region 1 bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Mitchell County was nipped by Westover (Albany, GA), 1-0, in a non-league bout.
