In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Sandusky Blue Streaks volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Bowsher BlueRacers.

The Blue Streaks (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbian (Tiffin, OH). The Tornadoes come into the Toledo City challenge with a 3-1 record.

Next, the BlueRacers play the Cardinal Stritch Cardinals (Oregon, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 24. Bowsher will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Ottawa Hills (Toledo, OH).
