The Sanger West Hornets (Fresno, CA) volleyball held off the visiting Caruthers Blue Raiders (Caruthers, CA), 3-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Hornets now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Dinuba for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 27. Sanger West will clash with a Emperors team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Summerville (Tuolumne, CA). The Emperors record now stands at 2-4.
