The Ashford Yellowjackets were victorious over the host Rehobeth Rebels football squad by a margin of 32-15 in Friday's non-league test.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cottonwood for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Ashford will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 14-14 non-league Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA). The Bears record now stands at 0-0.

With the defeat, Rehobeth drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Carroll (Ozark, AL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-1. Carroll lost 42-13 in their recent non-league game against Russell County (Seale, AL)
