Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY), 32-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Boone County improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rebels host St. Henry (Erlanger, KY) to play the Crusaders in a non-league battle on Friday, August 29. The Crusaders go into the battle with a record of 0-1. St. Henry lost 47-0 in their recent non-league test against Holy Cross (Covington, KY)

With the defeat, Holmes drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Ludlow (Ludlow, KY) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Ludlow lost 47-7 in their recent non-league test against Newport (Newport, KY)
