The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the LaBrae Vikings (Leavittsburg, OH) and the host Cardinal Huskies (Middlefield, OH), witnessed LaBrae's football squad wallop Cardinal by a tally of 49-8.

The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Pymatuning Valley (Andover, OH). The Lakers enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Pymatuning Valley was crushed by Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH), 29-8, in a non-league bout.
