Chambers Cougars (Charlotte, NC) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC), 35-34 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Chambers advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cougars host Hopewell (Huntersville, NC) to play the Titans in a non-league battle on Friday, August 29. The Titans go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Hopewell won 22-15 in their recent non-league battle against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
